Frequently
Asked Tax Questions
|
 |
| |
I
did not not trade in my corporation or LLC, do I still have to file
a tax return? |
| |
| Answer: |
A corporation
must file an income tax return even if it has no income or tax
liability. Every partnership or LLC taxed as a partnership must
file a tax return unless it neither receives income nor incurs
any expenditures treated as deductions or credits for federal
income tax purposes. Depending on the state where the entity is
located, a state tax return may be required.
